Image consulting is a rewarding career for people who enjoy helping others to increase their confidence and improve their personal presence. Image consultants work with their clients to help them recognise the colours which suit them best, understand which styles of clothing will make the most of their particular body shape and direct them in the way to maximise their wardrobe.
You will learn how to work with your clients and visually ascertain their body shape, their balance points and what clothing will suit them without the use of rulers, tapes measures or even a computer. You will learn how to reveal a client's clothing personality and how it affects the way they dress and feel about themselves.
Your clients will benefit from knowing you are giving them the latest colour advice which won't have them feeling only half their swatch works for them
Image consultants come from a variety of backgrounds and find that it is through their background that their future focus is often driven. You may select to focus on individual clients helping them personally, wardrobe management, personal shopping for clients or the corporate market.
Training as an Image consultant is not just for individuals who wish to start their own consultancy. It is ideal for people working in the fashion industry, boutique owners, beauty therapists, PR and HR consultants whose clients need assistance with their image as well as dress makers and stylists
This course has international recognition as an accredited course. Particpants who complete the full 9 day course will be accredited with 5.4 CEU's (continuing education credits).
Just released - You can now train in Style Online. If you find you do not have the time to attend a nine day course, or wish to break up the learning into bite sized pieces then the online training program is for you. This course has been Accredited by the Association of Image Consultants, thereby making it one of a kind as an online training course.
The online course is broken up into 21 lessons with 8 assignments due for grading. This course is hosted from my website www.internationalstyleacademy.com.au where you will receive student log-in details and be able to access all lessons. On average there will be approximately one hours worth of work in each lesson. Some will be shorter and some longer but there information you need will be completely covered in your lessons.
These lessons are based on the face to face style program as taught by Clare. You will receive full email support and two 30 minute phone calls during your training to assist you. This course will give you all of the information to start consulting with clients in style straight away.
There are no prerequisites to attending training but an interest in clothing, fashion and style will assist. You will learn how to present yourself in a manner which is concurrent with the work you are doing. You clients could range from women and men in both the private and the corporate sectors. Companies and individuals looking for image excellence in how they present themself to the public.
Our training will provide you with the fundamentals to establishing your own business immediately. All of our products can be branded to reflect your business for a fraction of what other companies are charging.
You will not be expected to buy any further materials or locked into any long term contracts. You are free to use your knowlege in any manner which you wish. Ongoing assistance is available from Clare as you set up your business.

Bookings MUST be confirmed two weeks in advance to secure a place and have your consulting tools prepared.
Courses will not run outside of Victoria with less than 3 attendees.
Course costs
Complete 9 day course $4815.00
Particpants will earn 5.4 CEU credits (Continuning Education Units) These credits are internationally recognised. You will receive a certificate of completion from Corporate Confidence .
To receive CEU's entire course must be completed. Indiviual modules are unable to be considered for CEU credits.
Includes all materials required as well as all Morning tea, Lunch and Afternoon tea.

Training commences at 9.30am and concludes between 4.30pm and 5pm each day.
Confident Consulting in Personal Style is an online training program designed to fit into your lifestyle and your needs. I realise not everyone is able to attend the classes that would like to so you now have an on-line program designed for those of you who are self motivated and happy to work at your own speed.
There are 21 lessons. Each lesson is fully self contained. It contains notes and various exercises for you to complete to supplement your learning. There are seven assignments you are required to finish during the course and one major assignment at the end of the course if you wish to receive a certificate of completion at the end. Each assignment is simply marked with a pass or fail. If your assignment requires more work you will receive notes and assistance assist you on the way. Assignments can be submitted via e-mail or the post. Assignments which are sent via e-mail will receive a quicker response than those received by the post.
You will have six months from registration in which to complete the course and have your final assignment graded. You will receive a student number and log-in details to get your lessons. By working through each module of lessons and completeing the assignmnet at the end of each module you will be following the classroom format of the course.
Due to the depth of information contained within the course refunds are not available but you may elect to receive the first two lessons through my link at www.internationalstyleacademy.com.au on the home page.
When you complete the online registration you will immediately receive your introductory package and your first lesson. The introductory package will outline how to set up your work notes, work through the course, send assignments and stay in contact.
As a bonus during training you'll also receive the business planning workshop notes. Whilst it is important to learn the skills is of an Image Consultant is also important to create a business plan for your business and know which direction you're going in.
The online Confident Consulting in Personal Style program is $1170.00.
At this point in time colour training will remain a classroom module until a means to create an online training program in colour that is both effective and educational has been designed. Should you wish to be considered for registration as a consultant on the Corporate Confidence web site you will need to do an additional day of training. These training days will be held directly before Colour Consulting training workshops.
Your trainer will be Clare Maxfield. She does not spend her days sitting behind a desk but is an active image consultant regularly working with clients. It is for this reason why some emails may take anywhere from twelve to 24 hours for you to receive a response on.
