Last month we saw the final of the biggest loser and I am still astounded at the amount of weight these people can lose in 3 months. I take my hat off to them and their ability to reach their goals. But do you have to be on a television program to look amazing?
NO YOU DON'T.
My clients are ecstatic at the amount of weight they can appear to have lost simply through a consultation. You don't have to have reached your goal weight to look gorgeous. When you learn the principles to looking fabulous, as you are, the results are immediate. There is no more waiting knowing how to dress will mean your confidence improves instantly and the flow effect into your day to day existence is noticeable. For many people it is that first noticeable difference in how you look that then spurs you onto to continuing with your plan. Exercising and dieting for months with little to show for it can be enough for you to say, I quit. I know personally I changed my eating style in January and it took two and a half months for me to see any noticeable results. I'm pleased to say five months later I am still at my goal weight.
So how can I help you today? Well there are some simple rules to follow to looking slimmer immediately without shedding a kilo and those I am going to share with you today.
Rule 1 – Never look at a size label again. Every store will size their clothing differently. So what if you are an 8 in one store and a 12 in another. It is how the clothing looks on you that matters. Do not ask the shop assistant to pick out clothes for you dependant on their size, look for fit as a good fit will make you look slimmer immediately.
Rule 2 – Wear clothing which fits you. Clothing which is too tight or even too loose will make you appear larger than you are. Don't be afraid to have your own clothes altered as you make the transition. A good alterations person is your best friend.
Rule 3 –Finer fabrics and finer knits will make you look, you guessed it, finer of form and shape.
Rule 4 – Avoid anything which creates a horizontal line at the widest part of your body. This can be jumper or jacket hems, belts, patterns or decorative stitching in a garment. If you hips are wider than you wish they were then also stop carrying a handbag which falls at this point on your body.
Rule 5 – Wearing accessories which are the same scale as your body. Let's say you are carrying fluid in your fingers then little skinny rings and bracelets will only emphasis this area and look out of place on your hands and wrists. The same goes for your necklaces and even handbags and shoes. By using accessories which are balanced to your body you will look harmonious and not out of balance.
I hope you find these rules helpful in creating a slimmer line and giving you the extra confidence you are looking for everyday.
Cheers
